Testimonials of Lisa’s Work:

Elissa Ellis Sangster Executive Director, Forte Foundation
Lisa played a key role in developing Forte’s Men as Allies Toolkit.

She built the toolkit from the ground up–we had an idea and concept, but she took us forward and delivered an amazingly detailed, workable Toolkit that will have a huge impact on MBA students in the Forte network.

Lisa conducted focus groups and interviews, reviewed research, spoke with thought leaders and much more. She then integrated all of her findings into an exhaustive document.

We are so pleased with the final product and could not have accomplished this task without her leadership and vision for the project. Thank you, Lisa!

Jennifer Sabatini Fraone Associate Director, Boston College Center for Work & Family
I have enjoyed getting to know Lisa and admire her passion for creating meaningful workplace change. Her contribution as a panelist discussing the future of work-life at our National Workforce Roundtable Meeting in November, 2014 was insightful and on point. I would welcome the opportunity to collaborate with Lisa again.
Gabrielle Lyse Brown Director of Diversity and Inclusion, New York City Bar Association
Lisa has been instrumental in the New York City Bar’s diversity efforts since she was first retained by the City Bar in 2008 to lead our diversity benchmarking research. Given her excellent work, Lisa was asked to continue overseeing the research on four subsequent occasions culminating in the 10th anniversary reporting in 2014.

Lisa is an innovator. Her recommendation to complement numeric data with input from leadership interviews in the most recent benchmark reporting added a powerful dimension to the results. It provided context and a far deeper understanding of the state of diversity across signatory firms.

I, and the rest of the team at the City Bar, have enjoyed working closely with Lisa. I would recommend her as an experienced diversity consultant and researcher.

Leslie Mays VP Global Inclusion, Avon

Lisa’s valuable participation in Avon’s Global Women’s Strategy Think Tank helped us forge a new path for empowering and advancing women everywhere we operate.

Lisa’s deep expertise in work life effectiveness directly influenced the development of our global policy and practices for workplace flexibility. Additionally, her perspective informed Avon’s thinking on leadership pipeline and development.  Lisa brings a wealth of knowledge and passion to organizations actively working to realize the full potential of women.

Heather Allen Leadership Gifts Officer, Cornell University
I had the pleasure of moderating a webinar featuring Lisa … for the Cornell Entrepreneur Network (CEN). One thing that particularly impressed me about Lisa was her preparation.

I highly recommend Lisa as a speaker and presenter. I have not yet read her entire book, The Libra Solution: Shedding Excess and Redefining Success at Work and at Home, but what I have read is fantastic and I intend to finish it soon.

De Scacchetti, MBA, PMP IT and Relationship Management, Daiichi Sankyo
Lisa worked with the DSI Women’s Forum in our efforts to develop a mentoring approach at the company. Lisa designed, developed and facilitated a mentoring education program geared for a broad audience ranging from our executive leadership team to women and men early in their careers.

Lisa really listened to what was important for our company and worked with us in developing a highly targeted and effective program. Her expertise and knowledge were evident in her remarks. It was clear that she was a seasoned public speaker; her approach was highly interactive while providing substantive content.

Throughout the project negotiations Lisa was very flexible and we were able to develop a scope of work that fit our budget, provided great value, and met our needs.

Melissa Padden Human Resources Consultant, Major Energy Company
While working as a consultant with a major energy company, Catalyst was brought in to lend its expertise to a workplace flexibility project. Lisa so impressed the clients with her directness, mastery of the subject matter, and ability to parse out relevant information, they requested her specifically on two separate occasions during the course of the work.

Lisa proved to be a very knowledgeable and credible resource, unafraid to tackle difficult and sensitive matters, and spot on in her analysis of the issues. I really enjoyed working with Lisa, and learned a great deal from her in the process.

Mary Bentley former President of the Women’s Food Service Forum
While President of the Women’s Foodservice Forum (WFF), I retained Catalyst in 2007 to assist my organization with two major pieces of work – 1) helping to design and facilitate a half-day session for top executives in the food service industry and 2) providing expert guidance in the development of a diversity change model. Lisa played the lead role in the consulting work for WFF which spanned about 6 months.

Lisa was very focused in her approach to our changing needs and was great at meeting the needs of multiple constituents within the organization. The project was very complex and took a lot of organizational and insight work from her to pull the data together in a way that could be easily presented to the foodservice industry executives that would drive behavior change.

Lisa was also responsible for the development of the presentation and management of a panel of experts. She came across as very knowledgeable and an expert in organizational issues in the development of diversity strategies.
